Colchester Canine Creche is a day care centre on Moss Road in Stanway, opened in July 2019 by Matt Ward and Evija Siksna. It takes up to around 40 dogs a day in an un-kennelled, nursery-style setting with ball pits, a climbing frame and a play-house, and structures the day with organised activities such as mini agility, treasure hunts and games of Jenga. Colchester City Council licenses the business for day care with a 5-star rating, and the current licence runs to October 2028.
