The Dog Barn Darlington is a purpose-built day-care site about a mile outside Darlington, opened in January 2024 on more than three acres with two exercise fields and an all-weather play area. Darlington Borough Council licenses it for day care, alongside a separate home boarding licence. Indoor heated buildings are divided into small day-care suites, each with its own rest area.
