Dog boarding and day care prices in Nottingham

Prices are as the businesses published them when we last checked (September 2026). They can change without notice, so confirm them when you book.

Twenty-six dog boarders, day carers and kennels are listed for Nottingham, and only one of them, Nottingham Pet Services in Carlton, publishes a price on its own site. Everywhere else — including the nine businesses licensed by Nottingham City Council, seven of them at the council's top 5-star rating — quotes are given once a business knows your dog's size and dates, so the figures below are the only fixed data point for the whole town, not a price list.

What this one example shows

Nottingham Pet Services, on Burlington Road in Carlton, is the only business among the twenty-six listed that puts a figure on its own site: £17.50 a day for day care at its premises, £18 a day for a day-care visit at your own home instead, and a £4 discount on a second pet booked alongside the first. It trades from a fixed address rather than a private home, and this project could not match it to a council licence register, which is worth asking about directly. None of these three prices are for overnight boarding, so they cannot be used to estimate what a night in kennels or with a home boarder would cost.

Why nearly everyone else quotes on request

Twenty-five of the twenty-six businesses listed for Nottingham do not publish a price at all. Twenty-one of them are individually licensed home boarders rather than a business with a public price list: home boarding is usually costed around the length of stay, the number of dogs from the same household, and sometimes how far the boarder needs to travel, so there is rarely one number that fits every booking. The three businesses with a dedicated day-care licence and fixed premises — Cuddles-A-Plenty in Bulwell, Ruffles Doggy Daycare in Mapperley and Build a Bond in West Bridgford, all rated 5 stars by Nottingham City Council — and Pampered Pets (Boarding) Ltd, the Gedling-licensed boarding kennels and cattery in Carlton, also give no figure on their own sites.

What to ask instead

Have your dog's size, temperament and dates ready when you call, and ask the same three things of every business you compare: what the day or night rate actually covers, whether a bank holiday or a second dog from a different household is charged extra, and how the first and last day of a stay are counted if you are booking more than one night. See our choosing guide for what else is worth asking before you book.
